Overview

The project will work in selected areas of the country; the sites were specifically selected because they contain the majority of the remaining elephant populations in the country. They include the landscapes encompassing i) the Omo-Mago-Chebera Chuchura National Parks, ii) the Babille Elephant Sanctuary and iii) the Kafta-Shiraro National Park (see maps). Collectively they host approximately 1500 elephants.
